How to Choose the Right Leather Jacket Size (Online)

Buying a leather jacket online is easy when you know your measurements. All you need is a soft measuring tape and five minutes.

The four measurements that matter - Chest: around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, tape level. - Waist: around your natural waist, just above the belly button. - Shoulder: from the edge of one shoulder to the other, across your back. - Sleeve: from the shoulder edge down to your wrist bone, arm relaxed.

How should it fit? A leather jacket should feel snug but not tight. You should be able to cross your arms and reach forward without the back pulling. The shoulder seam should sit right on your shoulder bone, and sleeves should end at the wrist.

Leather softens — a little Leather moulds to your body over the first weeks, but it does not grow a full size. If you are between two sizes, choose the bigger one if you want to wear a hoodie underneath, and the smaller one for a sharp, fitted look.
